Lam Dong establishes Trade Union of Da Huoai commune, "not abandoning" the area
Lam Dong - Da Huoai Commune Trade Union has just been established and put into operation, managing more than 2,200 union members operating in 25 grassroots trade unions in 9 communes.
On January 29, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit had just established the Da Huoai Commune Trade Union and decided to appoint 5 members of the Provisional Executive Committee.
This is an inter-communal trade union model, operating in 9 communes including: Da Huoai, Da Huoai 2, Da Huoai 3, Da Teh, Da Teh 2, Da Teh 3, Cat Tien, Cat Tien 2, Cat Tien 3. Currently, the unit is assigned to manage 25 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,200 union members.
The establishment of inter-communal trade unions aims to strengthen the management and administration of the Provincial Labor Federation. From there, trade union activities are timely and closely aligned with the motto "not neglecting" the area and grassroots level.
After the merger and establishment of the province, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation urgently developed a project to establish commune, ward, and special zone trade unions, and submitted it to competent authorities for approval.
According to the approved project, Lam Dong will have 31 commune and ward trade unions, special zones over 124 commune-level administrative units. To date, this unit has established and maintained the operation of 28 commune and ward trade unions, special zones.
Being appointed to the position of Chairman of Da Huoai Commune Trade Union - Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh - shared that this is an honor, being trusted to assign new tasks. At the same time, Ms. Hanh also clearly realizes her responsibility to the Provincial Trade Union and union members and workers.
Ms. Hanh said that grassroots trade unions in the area operate stably. However, the area is large, so it is also difficult to organize centralized activities.
Therefore, the role of grassroots trade union officials is very important, the unit should soon develop operating regulations and assign specific tasks to go into stable operation.
