Chủ tịch Quốc hội tặng quà Tết cho gia đình chính sách, công nhân lao động tại Cần Thơ

Sáng 1.2, tại Thành ủy Cần Thơ, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn cùng đoàn công tác trung ương đã thăm, tặng quà Tết cho cán bộ hưu trí qua các thời kỳ, gia đình chính sách và công nhân lao động nhân dịp Tết Nguyên đán Bính Ngọ 2026.

Tham dự đoàn có Phó Chủ tịch Thường trực Tổng Liên đoàn Lao động Việt Nam Thái Thu Xương.

Phát biểu tại buổi chúc Tết, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn thay mặt lãnh đạo Đảng và Nhà nước chúc Đảng bộ, chính quyền TP Cần Thơ, cán bộ hưu trí qua các thời kỳ, gia đình chính sách và công nhân lao động đón Tết vui tươi, đầm ấm.

The National Assembly Chairwoman also informed that in 2025, although the world and regional context are still facing many difficulties, our country has overcome challenges and achieved important results.

Theo Chủ tịch Quốc hội, năm 2026 cả nước phấn đấu đạt mức tăng trưởng hai con số; TP Cần Thơ cũng phải nỗ lực đạt mục tiêu này để đến năm 2030, dịp kỷ niệm 100 năm thành lập Đảng, nước ta trở thành quốc gia có thu nhập trung bình khá.

Hướng tới kỷ niệm 100 năm thành lập nước vào năm 2045, mục tiêu là đưa Việt Nam trở thành quốc gia có thu nhập cao. Vì vậy, việc triển khai thực hiện Nghị quyết Đại hội đại biểu toàn quốc lần thứ XIV của Đảng cần được tiến hành ngay từ tháng đầu, quý đầu của năm 2026.

The National Assembly Chairwoman stated clearly that Can Tho City needs to develop a specific action program to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, the city must have a detailed plan on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and building a strong political system; in which special attention should be paid to building a strategy for training and developing human resources.

The National Assembly Chairwoman emphasized that it is necessary to focus highly on the cause of education, training and science and technology development. Can Tho City is an area with an important strategic position in the Mekong Delta region, where the Command of Military Region 9 is located, so special attention must be paid to the tasks of national defense and security, ensuring political stability and social order and safety.

In addition, the National Assembly Chairwoman noted that internal solidarity is an extremely important issue, a foundation for creating consensus, joint efforts, and unity in the entire Party Committee and People. All policies and goals, no matter how large, need to be concretized by the actions of the contingent of officials and the active participation of each citizen and each family, thereby contributing to building Can Tho City into a central city with comprehensive development, strong in socio-economics, and a livable city of the Southwest region.
